EZ Lawn and Landscape, LLC has been in business since 2014. From 2014 to 2017, we were known as “EZ Lawn Care,” and we operated on a part-time basis. In 2017, God began transitioning our business down a full-time path. Being a family-oriented business, we believe in providing high-quality services combined with excellent customer service at fair and reasonable prices! Together, Cody and Sammy have built this business based on a foundation of honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, customer service and quality services.
From logging to lawn care, Cody has always loved working outdoors, and he takes fulfillment in the appearance of the properties we serve. With an extensive background in small business management, Sammy puts her skills to work in the office. Together, Cody and Sammy have two daughters, Harley and Aubrey, as well as two dogs Macey and Milo. We come from a long line of successful family-owned small businesses. We are proud to continue this legacy of entrepreneurship instilled in us by our late great-grandfather, Herman Gordon Hall. Mr. Hall owned and operated Halls Logging for over 30 years in Evington, VA. Cody’s mother, Susan Hall, is the owner of a towing business known as Dragon Recovery and she is also the co-owner of S&M Shed Adventures, both of which are located in Rustburg, VA. Cody’s oldest sister, Cadie Garrett, works alongside Susan in their business. Cody’s youngest sister, Angela Hall, owns a local hair salon in Rustburg, VA, known as Beauty by Angela! We are looking forward to seeing how our next generation of entrepreneurs will serve our community.

The Mowing Specialist is a team member who will work alongside another 1 to 2 team members under the supervision of the owner. The primary function of the Mowing Specialist is to assist the Team Leader in completion of the weekly mowing operations. The Mowing Technician is able to operate a variety of equipment and has basic horticultural knowledge.
Hourly/Salary options available. $16-$19 per hour. Individuals have the opportunity to earn more as more knowledge and experience is acquired.
The majority of the time (greater than 80%) will be spent in an outdoor environment, with limited ability to control noise, airborne contaminants and temperature. Must be able to lift regularly 80 pounds. The employee is expected to work the assigned hours at EZ Lawn and Landscape from Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed. The work hours required of this position may be long when extended schedules are necessary. The normal expected work week will be 40-50 hours, but the person in this position is expected to work the hours needed to successfully satisfy the responsibilities and duties of the position. This position has the option to be salary or hourly wage. If salary, the team member will receive full compensation during the winter months when work is scarce or not needed.
The employee will work closely with members of the team, the owner and clients.

EZ Lawn and Landscape will provide all staff with uniform tops, hats, hoodies and jackets during the winter months. Team members are responsible for selecting and providing their own pants and shoes. Work pants must be of a color that coordinates well with our uniform tops (tan, brown, black, army green, etc). Pants are to be worn at the appropriate waistline with a belt if needed. Shoes are required to be close toe work style boots or shoe. All team members are expected to be well groomed in clean uniforms.
